  -

Pap Smear, HPV

This term refers to a spontaneous abortion during 12-20 weeks of pregnancy due to natural causes. This condition is likely to stem from uterus or cervix abnormalities since the fetus does not have enough room to develop. Earlier, it was believed that this condition may stem from progesterone deficiency, yet it is doubtful now. If a late miscarriage, it is wise to get medical care, maintain good health, and get a routine Pap smear to rule out HPV.
