Spotting After Miscarriage




Spotting after miscarriage is normal but symptoms from HPV or vaginosis should be treated. The most common symptom of miscarriages is vaginal bleeding, which can range from light spotting to heavier than a period. There may be blood clots, or other tissue that is not clearly identifiable. Miscarriages most often happen when the fetus has a genetic abnormality. Spotting after miscarriage is normal but symptoms from HPV or vaginosis should be treated.

As many as 30 percent of all pregnancies end in miscarriages. According to statistics, half of them occur before a woman even realizes that she is pregnant.
